The CD was created from a UEFI OS install so when I try to boot the CDF in BIOS mode it says it is not bootable. I suspect my original problem that the Windows Repair Disk won't boot is something to do with UEFI and Windows 7 not properly supporting it. I've worked out how to make it boot in UEFI mode as well as in BIOS mode. I've got a bootable Windows 7 圆4 Installation on a USB stick.
